46,400 per annum plus daily production bonus with the potential of earning a total of approximately £55,760 per annum

Respond to emergency breakdowns and minimise downtime
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and control system faults
Respond to requests from production for engineering assistance and monitor visual management boards to ensure flagged items are dealt with
Carry out planned preventative maintenance within the PPM schedule
Maintain accurate maintenance records within appropriate timescales
Complete engineering project tasks and make improvements to existing equipment
Collaborate with production teams to improve their knowledge of the equipment and their ability to quickly identify problems to minimise downtime and improve machine reliability
Play an active part in health and safety, identify hazards and risks ensuring that all health and safety procedures and safe working practices are always followed
Proven experience in a multi-skilled engineering role within a manufacturing, industrial or similar environment
Ability to fault find, repair and provide solutions to problems
Effective communication skills
Ability to work in a time-critical environment
Level 3 or equivalent engineering qualification (advantageous)
Apprentice trained (advantageous)
