Your Role

As an Art Teacher at our school, you will :

Teach engaging Art lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, introducing them to a variety of artistic techniques and media

Support students in developing both technical skills and creative confidence

Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and deliver a dynamic, challenging curriculum that inspires every learner

Provide regular assessment and constructive feedback to support students’ progress and achievements

Encourage student involvement in extracurricular activities, such as art clubs, exhibitions, and school-wide creative events

Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment where all students feel motivated and supported to express themselves creatively

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for an experienced Art Teacher who :

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and has proven experience teaching Art at secondary level

Has a degree in Art, Fine Art, or Art & Design, with a strong portfolio and a solid understanding of visual arts practice

Is passionate about making Art accessible and enjoyable for all students, helping them to develop their creative abilities

Has strong communication, organisational, and classroom management skills

Is committed to creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
