Senior .Net Developer (Azure)

Leeds, Manchester, Bristol, Edinburgh (any location)

Permanent - £55,000 - £70,000

Our client is currently in search of Senior Software Engineers to work in multi-disciplinary teams that build, support & maintain User-Centred digital solutions that offer real value and work for everyone.

We need a confident engineer, happy to be a leader who can manage projects, maintain client relationships and someone who passionate about developing and up skilling others!

The role as a Senior .Net Developer :

  • Act as a Technical SME within the squad and produce user-centred solutions where you'll contribute to their design, deployment and maintenance.
  • Create secure, accessible services in a variety of frameworks and languages adhering to best practices and open standards.
  • Present new prototypes to internal / external stakeholders
  • Create solutions following industry best practices and using techniques such as CI / CD and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Develop software solutions in native cloud environments (Azure)
  • Involved in the recruitment and on-boarding of other engineers

Necessary skills of Senior .Net Developer's :

  • Extensive experience with backend development using C# and .NET frameworks.
  • Proficient in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with experience in JavaScript libraries and frameworks like Node.js, React, and Angular.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes or similar platforms.
  • Proficient in leveraging Azure Services, including Azure SQL Database, Function Apps, and Data Factory..
  • Experienced in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Proficient with CI / CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, AWS CodeBuild, and Atlassian tools.
