This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with experience in purchase ledger operations to contribute to a well-established organization.Role OverviewAs a Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Purchase Ledger department, ensuring smooth processing of supplier accounts. Your responsibilities will include invoice processing, statement reconciliations, handling queries, and ensuring compliance with company policies.Key Responsibilities :
- Processing and uploading invoices and credit notes
- Matching purchase orders to invoices and verifying rates
- Handling and resolving invoice queries with suppliers and internal teams
- Producing supplier statement reconciliations
- Reviewing month-end payment runs
- Raising and allocating ad-hoc payments
- Managing supplier accounts and ensuring smooth financial transactions
- Handling telephone inquiries and completing related administrative tasksWhat We’re Looking For :
- Strong communication skills
- Previous experience in a purchase ledger role (desirable)
- Proficiency in IT, including Excel and multiple applications
- Experience working in a high-volume transaction environment
- Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and meet strict deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
