Job Description Role Purpose
The Wild are looking for an experienced Video Editor to join their growing team to work across a range of brands. We’re looking for someone who can edit a range of high quality branded video content from short to long form for our commercial and client projects.
The Senior Video Editor will work within The Wild, the internal creative agency within Jungle Creations offering unrivalled services and expertise in social media management, marketing, advertising and branded content.
Job Requirements
Background and Experience
- Experience as a Video Editor.
- Experience at a production company, social / digital publisher and / or advertising / marketing agency.
- A track record of editing content for social media.
- Experience in media management with multiple projects or within a company.
Skills & Competencies
Excellent knowledge & skills using Adobe Premiere Pro.Excellent knowledge & skills using Adobe After Effects.Great knowledge & skills using Adobe Photoshop.A great eye for detail, design and visual flare.Meticulous attention to detail.Media management.Accuracy; adherence to deadlines, design briefs and brand guidelines.Ability to take on feedback, new ideas and direction.Strong communication skills.Bonus Points
Interest in popular culture and social media trends.Camera Operating skills on mobile phones, DSLR video cameras and / or Professional level video cameras (Sony Fx6 or equivalent).Keen to work within an office environment.Full Clean UK Driving License.Job Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Edit a diverse range of high quality social content, including editorial, branded content, and all social first video formats.Edit large-scale projects with several hours of rushes, creating a narrative that drives audience engagement.Edit smaller-scale edits with flare, pace and precision, keeping the viewer engaged throughout.Create exciting and engaging social assets / cutdowns from the main episode / asset that draws viewers attention.Able to ingest media on shoots to hard drives and check media for any corrupt files.Able to create 2D motion graphic assets to a high-standard using After Effects & Photoshop.Ability to create visual assets using client brand guidelines.Able to seamlessly mix audio including music, SFX, interviews and diegetic sounds.Able to colour grade a variety of footage with the Adobe Software Suite.Work with the Production team, Project Managers and Creative team to understand the client brief and deliver edits that meet clients needs to the agreed specifications.Able to intake feedback from the client & internal stakeholders, and re-delivering new draft versions that complete feedback and / or offer creative solutions to comments.Able to work to deadlines and communicate progress throughout the post-production timeline.When required, able to balance the workload of multiple projects at different stages, answer ad-hoc requests and step into freelance and colleagues edit projects.Stay up to date with emerging production technology and social media trends to keep your work current.Quality checking final output and maintaining standards with every export.Job Benefits
