Care / Support Worker

Due to a significant increase in workload, we are currently seeking to recruit high calibre support workers to assist service users in and around Central London.

At SureCare Chelsea & Fulham we listen, respect and value all our care and support workers because we understand that although being a care worker is an extremely rewarding role, it can also be challenging.

We believe that a key contributor to the quality of the service we provide is the quality of our staff. As such, we pay our staff above industry average to ensure that our highest quality staff remain with us in the long run and service users benefit from continuity in their care.

We also believe that the welfare of care workers has a direct and material impact on the quality of the care they provide. We are looking for support workers who can demonstrate a commitment to outstanding levels of care. Full training is given together with funding for relevant additional training to enhance your skills and experience.

We are looking for part-time workers for early shifts, late shifts, day shifts and weekend shifts. We also want night sitters and live-in care workers, in fact something to suit most people.

The position will be subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references and the right to work in the UK.

We will be looking to appoint team leaders in the future and will prioritise existing staff for these roles. Your career progression will be down to you!

Key Points :

• To be able to demonstrate a passion and commitment to providing excellent care and support for the clients of SureCare Chelsea & Fulham
• To ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures including all safeguarding procedures
• The ability to communicate appropriately and effectively with people considering their individual communication needs
• Accurately maintain all records including personal plans, personal adviser sessions, medication records and financial transaction documentation as required by SureCare Chelsea & Fulham
• Report and record (as required) any accident or incident which may occur, no matter how minor, to the appropriate person
• Actively promote an open, honest and high performance culture
• The ability to work as part of a team within a flexible rota system
