• 35,000 - £40,000 salary guideline depending on experience.We are looking for a talented Management Accountant to join a well-established, modern, and growing accountancy practice in Rutland. You will play an integral part of the team delivering a range of commercial and accounting services to a wide range of clients throughout the UK. • They provide a range of accounting services to a wide range of clients within the UKThe Management Accountant job will involve :
• Carrying out month-end tasks including :
• Reviewing the P&L account and investigating variances to budgets / expected balances
• Reviewing the balance sheet to ensure control accounts are correctly reconciled
• Entering month end journals for prepayments, accruals, work in progress and deferred income
• Running monthly management reports to include financial statements and other required schedules e.g., headcount, capital expenditure, inventory levels
• Producing cost centre reports and consolidated group accounts, where appropriate
• Updating forecast models with month end actual data
• Assisting with annual budgeting for certain clients, loading budgets into management reporting application and accounting software
• Preparing reports to support claims for government grant funding for research and development workThis Management Accountant job will suit :
• AAT / CIMA / ACA / ACCA or similar accountancy qualifications would be greatly beneficial
• Previous experience within a similar Management Accountant position.
• Strong IT knowledge – Specific Xero / Fathom experience would be beneficial, but we can look at similar accounting software packages.
