Adoption Team Manager, £45ph, Southend

Pertemps are recruiting for a qualified and experienced Team Manager to join the Adoption Team. The successful candidate will need to be energetic, inspirational, passionate, and resilient about achieving positive outcomes for the children and young people that require a service from our team.

The goal is to provide a first-class professional service by being responsible and efficient for children, young people and their families alongside supervising a small team of social workers in the recruitment, training, and assessment of prospective adopters. Requirements :

• Registered with SWE &
• CQSW, DipSW, CSS or equivalent.
• 4 years’ experience in working with children and families
• Experience of providing fostering and / or adoption services
• Extensive knowledge of methods of social work intervention, child protection, looked after children, fostering and adoption services
• Knowledge of relevant legislation & regulation
• Knowledge of National Minimum Standards and Regulations for Adoption and Fostering services
• Valid driving licence and car available for business use
