Salary : £29,547 - £33,920 (dependant on qualification / s and experience)
Location : Caterham, Surrey
We are looking for a full time, QTS, EYTS, EYPS, or Level 6 early years qualified Teacher to join our Bright Horizons Caterham The Laurels, situated in Caterham, Surrey.
Our Caterham nursery is situated in a leafy residential area, directly opposite Town End Recreation Ground where we take the children in Summer. We have a parent drop-off zone and parking facilities for your convenience, and are a twenty minute walk from Caterham Station.

What you’ll be doing
Plan and develop rich learning opportunities and exceptional care, that helps all children to develop, and meets their individual needsMake accurate and effective assessments, which reflect the needs, interests, and stages of each child, through supporting the delivery of the key person approachEnsure the environment is providing consistent stimulating and inspiring activities for the children, across both the indoor and outdoor areasDevelop and maintain strong parent / carer partnershipsPromote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguardingWork with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy and safe environmentWhat we’re looking for
Hold either Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS), Early Years Practitioner Status (EYPS), or a full and relevant Level 6 Early Years Qualification - essentialPrevious experience working within the Early Years sectorSound understanding of the Early Years Foundation StagePassion for making learning fun and engaging for each childAbility to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parentsAbility to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adultsStrong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with childrenINDEYT
