Chemistry Teacher – Outstanding School – Kingston

An Outstanding Ofsted-rated secondary school in Kingston requires a skilled and passionate Chemistry Teacher to join their high-achieving Science department. This is a full-time, permanent position, primarily focused on teaching Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.

Responsibilities :

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Chemistry lessons that meet curriculum requirements and examination board specifications.
  • Create a safe and engaging learning environment that promotes scientific inquiry and deep understanding.
  • Assess student progress rigorously and provide effective, targeted feedback.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of the Chemistry curriculum, ensuring it remains challenging and up-to-date.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Science department.
  • Teaching at an Outstanding level.

Requirements :

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • A degree in Chemistry or a closely related field.
  • Proven experience teaching Chemistry at the secondary level, including A-Level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a demonstrable passion for chemistry.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
