Job description

So, what will I be doing?

A job in the catering sector but with unusually sociable hours. As Catering Assistant, you will be joining the busy Catering team at our Blagdon production site. Working closely with our existing Catering Assistants and Chef de Partie, you'll be responsible for assisting with the smooth delivery of catering and hospitality for Yeo Valley employees using the canteen.

We have a current need for A full time member of staff and a Member of staff on a 12 month FTC. working 0700-1630 on a 40n - 4off shift pattern.

Key responsibilities will include both front and back of house duties :

  • Assisting Chefs with food preparation
  • Serving Yeo Valley staff with hot and cold food
  • Ensuring all displays, counters and seating areas are clean and presented to the highest standards
  • Vending and snack replacement
  • Kitchen porter duties
  • Assist with cash handling and till operating

Hours :  4 days on 4 days off - 0700-1630.

  • Food Hygiene Level 2
