About the School :
We are thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join a large secondary school in Ellesmere Port from January 2025. This role is a fantastic chance to make a real difference in the lives of students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), supporting them in overcoming challenges and reaching their full potential.
Role Overview :
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students on a 1-to-1 basis and in small groups, providing tailored support to those with a range of SEND needs, including students with challenging behaviours. You will be an integral part of the school's dedicated support team, helping to create a positive, inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive.
The role is full-time, temporary until the end of the academic year, with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
