Electrical Engineer

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, based in Wymondham, Norfolk an experienced Electrical Engineer, for a long-term hybrid contract role.You will be working in a collaborative, dynamic environment that values your expertise.As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will have :

• A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in electrical engineering.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.
• Proficiency in electrical design software and tools.
• A deep understanding of electrical codes, standards, and best practices.Essential Experience :
• Familiarisation with bespoke Hydraulic Power Unit (HPU), Chemical Injection Unit (CIU) and Intervention Workover Control System (IWOCS) E&I package installations.
• Familiarisation with E&I package installations operating on 24VDC and 230VAC / 400VAC-690VAC single phase / 3 phase supplies.
• Comprehensive understanding of Zone 1 and Zone 2 hazardous area E&I installations in accordance with BS / IEC (phone number removed) and BS / IEC (phone number removed).
• Comprehensive understanding of offshore E&I installations in accordance with BS / IEC (phone number removed) to BS / IEC (phone number removed).
• Experience and understanding of hazardous area ATEX / IECEX / INMETRO Ex protection concepts; Exe, Exd and Exi, including, but not limited to equipment types : Junction Boxes, Instruments, Cable Glands, Isolating Equipment, Electric Motors and Control Panels....
