position!What youll be doingPerform routine electrical maintenance and servicing on facilities, machinery, and equipmentRespond promptly to breakdowns to minimise downtimeInstall and support new electrical systems, adhering to manufacturer and regulatory standardsProvide out-of-hours support for urgent repairs when reasonably requiredWork collaboratively with production teams to schedule maintenance with minimal disruptionCommunicate effectively with team leaders regarding installation and repair plansSupport procurement for maintenance consumables and equipmentTroubleshoot electrical issues and implement preventative solutionsMaintain a strong focus on safety, following Safe Systems of Work and Permit to Work protocolsOperate tools and equipment safely and in line with training providedHoursMonday-Thursday 6 : 30am-4 : 00pm (Fridays off)Pay£32,000 - £42,000 per annum (Dependant on Experience)Skills / Experience RequiredElectrical engineering qualifications (Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds - 18th Edition, BTEC, or equivalent)Ideally 4+ years of electrical maintenance experienceExperience in sourcing materials and liaising with suppliersCalibration of electrical assetsAbility to design and read installation schematics and circuit diagramsAble to work independently and solve problems proactivelyTesting and inspection competence to IEE standardsBenefitsFridays offCompetitive salaryExcellent pension and life assurance schemeCareer and development opportunities28 days holiday (including bank holidays)Birthday vouchersHealth and wellbeing servicesWellbeing / Occupational Health clinicsEmployee Assistance ProgrammeCycle to Work schemeFree onsite parkingSocial eventsTraining providedEssentialAll applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK (sponsorship not provided).All applicants must be able to commute to Congleton.What to do nextIf youre interested in this role, please apply and we will be in touch!Modus Personnel are acting as an employment agency on behalf of our client.
