My client is a Specialist Facade Contractor. Having grown steadily over the last 20+ years, they have established an excellent reputation with some of the biggest names in the construction industry. They work on Commercial, Residential, Healthcare, Retail, and Education projects.

The Role - Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Lead

My client is looking for a proactive, organised Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager to join them in their HQ in Essex. This is an office-based role (so very little in the way of site visits).

• You will have excellent knowledge on construction contract review / negotiations (JCT and NEC).
• Work closely with the estimating team in reviewing the tender stage and being involved in the pre-contract stage.
• Liaison between the estimating team and the projects team at the handover stage.
• Working closely with senior managers and directors.
• Ensure that all risks are identified and minimised on all contracts. Measure and agreement with the client.

This is a new role for the company, so the opportunity to really make a difference and upskill the company in relation to contract knowledge.
