Alexandra Park is a much-loved nursery school in Manchester providing children with an exceptional creative and children focused and child-focused early years education.
We are looking for a passionate and ambitious Atelierista who will work in partnership with the educator team to ensure the successful running of the nursery.
Our pedagogical approach at Alexandra Park is Reggio Emilia inspired and paired with our Storal Curriculum, provides a unique and meaningful early years education.
As our Atelierista, you'll be a visual arts specialist with a background in or a demonstrated passion for visual arts. Providing opportunities for children to work on extended projects, explore many art languages and learn to express themselves.
Working directly with the children you'll ensure that there is a broad range of creative experiences available; finding opportunities to infuse arts teaching and learning in all areas of the curriculum.
Part of you role will be to promote curiosity, critical thinking, problem solving skills and social interaction amongst the children; with regular collaboration, planning and reflection with the wider team members.

Salary : £25,584 per annum - dependent on experience and qualifications + £500 Welcome Bonus (pro-rata for part-time hours, conditions apply)
