Job description

A new opportunity for a Deputy Manager or an experienced Senior Residential Support Worker looking to progress into a Deputy role at our new home Childrens assessment home in Devizes

Titan House, our new Emotional Well-being Assessment home in Devizes will support children & young people aged between 8-18 providing short term placements until their needs are fully appraised and understood. The service will provide up to 3 children / young people at any one-time opportunities to enjoy different experiences, establish friendships and develop confidence, independence and social / emotional skills.

About you :

You will have at least one year of experience as a Senior Support Worker in a Childrens Residental setting or have previously worked as a Deputy Manager and a minimum Level 3 in Children and Young Peoples Workforce qualification for this role.

  • Responsibilities :

    Team Leadership and Management :

  • Act as the Manager's support, ensuring the home aligns with our values and standards in their absence.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to the team, aiding in their professional development and individual growth.
  • Oversee colleague management, including appraisals, supervision, and training adherence.
  • Manage health and safety protocols, risk assessments, and ensure all necessary training is completed.
