We are looking for enthusiastic General Assistants to
become part of our close-knit team for the season from April – October .
This is a fantastic opportunity for a couple or an individual who thrives in an
intimate, supportive environment and takes pride in delivering quick and
efficient service with a smile.
As a General Assistant, you will work in all areas of the
hotel – housekeeping, portering, the bar and front of house. You will be
stepping in and helping wherever needed so expect to be flexible, versatile and
to be given some responsibility but never get bored!
In addition to supporting with the breakfast service, you
may also be required to assist with bar work and help with guest luggage,
ensuring every part of the guest journey is smooth.

Location : The
Laggan, Newtonmore, Scotland
Employment type : Seasonal , full-time
beginning of April to the end of October October) and any additional hours
worked are all paid for.
Working pattern : 5 days out of 7
Shift Patterns vary between departments but could be : Breakfast-
6 : 30-11 : 00, Dinner-17 : 00-22 : 00; when in Housekeeping 8 : 00-15 : 00; and when in
the bar only 15 : 00-22 : 00.
Salary : £12.50 per hour + cash tips (amounting up to
200 per month).
Key Responsibilities of a General Assistant :
in serving food and drinks, ensuring high standards of service.
and serve beverages, including alcoholic drinks, while maintaining
cleanliness and organisation.
a warm welcome to guests, assist with arrivals and departures and help
handle guest inquiries.
with luggage upon arrival and departure, ensuring a smooth and pleasant
experience.
cleanliness and organisation in food service areas.
warm customer service, ensuring all guest needs are met with
professionalism and warmth.
closely with the Laggan team and being prepared to work in any areas of
the hotel.
What are we looking for?
experience within hospitality is a plus
excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
a friendly, bubbly and flexible attitude
handle busy situations, be versatile and manage your workload
effectively
