Salary : Band 3, £23,847 per annum (pro-rata for part-time hours) / £12.36 per hour

Hours : Casual Hours, as and when required

Location : Middleton Arena, Heywood Civic Centre, and other sites as required

What will my role be as a Multi-Skilled Theatre Technician - Casual?

Your role will be to provide a professional, efficient, and high-quality service to customers of Your Trust. This includes assisting with all general technical aspects of Your Trust performance spaces to facilitate the delivery of shows, events, functions, and meetings along with adequate preparation of rooms and facilities. This also includes assisting the Technical Manager and Assistant Technical Manager to deliver high-quality technical services, liaise with clients, and maintain a safe working environment, being the technical representative for Your Trust for technical management, operations, and production when on shift.

What do I need to have?

• Qualified to Level 2 / 3 or equivalent in a relevant subject or qualified by practical experience
• Experience of stage lighting design, setup, and control
• Experience of sound setup and control
• Experience of supporting public performances as a technician
• Knowledge of theatre counterweight flying systems and mechanical loading systems
• Proactive and innovative with the ability to work without supervision
• Ability to deal effectively with multiple priorities and demands
• Good organisational skills with the ability to work to deadlines
• Excellent communication; both oral and written and excellent interpersonal skills
