Job Title :   Primary Teacher

Location : North Shields

Pay rate : £150 - £220 per day (Depending on experience) .

Start Date : Immediate

Contract Type : Daily Supply, Long-Term

About the Role :  As a  Primary Teacher , you will be instrumental in providing excellent education and motivating students to develop a passion for learning. Collaborating with a team of committed professionals, you will design engaging and impactful lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of your students.

Key Responsibilities of Primary Teacher :

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students, ensuring all students are motivated and challenged.
  • Teach a range of subjects to primary school students.
  • Organise and supervise extracurricular activities and events, fostering a sense of curiosity and enthusiasm for learning.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external partners to enhance the curriculum and support student development.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and encouraged to participate.
  • Promote health and safety in all activities, ensuring students understand the importance of safe practices.

Requirements of Primary Teacher :

  • QTS is a must.
  • Experience in teaching primary school students is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • The ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best.
  • Commitment to promoting a love for learning and curiosity about the world.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in primary education (desirable but not essential).

  • Have the right to work in the UK.
  • Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
  • Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Updated Service  or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
