HGV Class 1 Shunter Driver (Days)Location – Devizes (SN10)Salary :

• Monday - Friday £16.00 Paye - £18.50 Ltd PER HOUR
• Saturday £17.00 Paye - £20.00 Ltd PER HOUR
• Sunday and BH £18.00 Paye - £21.00 Ltd PER HOURHoliday coverShift pattern / days worked – 4on 4offWe're looking for qualified and experienced HGV class 1 drivers for 4 on 4 off completing day shunting shifts.The role is completing shunting movements between two sites high level of customer service, happy to move cages of and off the trailer.Key tasks :
• Shunting trailers of cages between two sites
• Fasted place role
• Days 06.00 - 18.00
• Safely operate a truck to transport goods between two sites in Devizes
• Load and unload cages
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
• Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveriesRequirements :
• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
• Clean driving record with no major violations
• Proven experience as a truck driver or similar role
• Ability to operate and maintain various types of trucks and trailers
• Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
