Hunter Selection are recruiting for a leading manufacturer in their respected field, who are looking to recruit a Design Engineer. This role will provide you with a flexible working pattern and the opportunity to work primarily from home, travelling to site once per week offering a superb work-life balance. Role & Responsibilities :

Prepare key documentation such as manufacturing drawings in 2D using software such as AutoCAD.

Use a combination of specialist design software and manual calculation sheets to produce mechanical calculations.

Prepare Bill of Materials to hand over to the engineering team for purchasing.

Coordinate and liaise with the engineering team and clients regarding design information and design reviews.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience :

Experience of designing with sheet metal.

A minimum of 5 years design engineering experience.

AutoCAD experience in 2D is essential; designing in 3D is also preferable.

Experience using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) as a design method is preferable.
