Job descriptionOversee and manage the SEND provision across the school. Work closely with teachers, support staff, and external professionals to ensure appropriate interventions and support. Monitor and assess student progress, ensuring EHCPs and support plans are effectively implemented. Provide training and guidance to staff on best SEN practices. Foster an inclusive and supportive school culture. A qualified SENCO with the NASENCO qualification (or willingness to complete it). Experience working with students with SEN in a secondary school setting. Strong leadership and organisational skills. A collaborative and proactive approach to SEN provision. Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
