Location : Poole

Contract : Full-Time, Permanent

Salary : MPS / UPS + SEN Allowance

Your Role as SENCO :

  • Oversee and manage the SEND provision across the school.
  • Work closely with teachers, support staff, and external professionals to ensure appropriate interventions and support.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, ensuring EHCPs and support plans are effectively implemented.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on best SEN practices.
  • Foster an inclusive and supportive school culture.
  • Who We’re Looking For :

  • A qualified SENCO with the NASENCO qualification (or willingness to complete it).
  • Experience working with students with SEN in a secondary school setting.
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills.
  • A collaborative and proactive approach to SEN provision.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
