In this crucial role, you will support the next phase of their ambitious project delivery. Your responsibilities will include critically reviewing technical drawings and constructing high-quality, custom electromechanical automation systems, ensuring they meet specifications and adhere to strict safety standards.As an Mechanical Build Engineer, you will work closely with various departments and stakeholders, sharing your expertise and providing constructive feedback. Your main objective will be to accurately build and test electrical systems, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions. This role also involves traveling to client sites for the installation of robotic automation systems across various sectors, including defense.Key Responsibilities : Build and test bespoke electromechanical automation systemsReview and interpret technical mechanical drawingsCollaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholdersIdentify and resolve electrical faultsTravel to client sites for system installationsAbout You : HNC in an mechanical-focused discipline, mechanical apprenticeship, or equivalent experienceStrong communication skills in written and verbal EnglishProficient in reading and understanding technical mechanical drawingsEager to learn and adapt to new technologiesProactive problem-solver with a good understanding of industrial systems, particularly safety systemsAble to manage workloads and complete tasks independentlyFull UK driving licenseKnowledgeable about health and safety practicesWillingness and ability to travel as neededWorking Hours : Monday to Thursday : 8 : 30 AM - 5 : 00 PMFriday : 8 : 30 AM - 4 : 00 PMFlexible start and finish times availableWhat Our Client Offers : Salary up to £35,000, based on experienceFlexible working environment25 days holiday plus bank holidaysOccupational sick payCompany pension schemeFree parkingSupportive and friendly work cultureGenerous overnight allowance
