Position

HR Business Partner, Retail & Commercial

Based in London (hybrid working) with UK travel required

As HR Business Partner to the UK Retail & Commercial teams, you will provide :

HR Business Support

  • Implementation and management of all HR policies and proceduresin line with employment law and business goals
  • Provide daily support and advice to line managers and employees on all HR matters
  • Work in partnership with department managers to identify gaps, propose and implement changes to continuously improve performance and employee engagement
  • Manage employee relations cases within business area and provide HR advice and guidance, ensuring relevant employment legislation and best practice are followed
  • Coach line managers to manage employee relations issues directly where possible and ensure widespread understanding across the business
  • HR systems data management, maintenance, development, and user training
  • Maintain job profiles, handbook literature and department documentation
  • HR reporting – maintain data, produce reports / dashboards, KPIs and metrics
  • Support and contribute to brand and headquarter projects and initiatives
  • Champion equality and diversity across the company

Compensation

  • Review annual compensation for business area and review monthly payroll
  • Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Manage recruitment for business area (Retail & Commercial)
  • Support & develop local and brand induction & onboarding programmes
  • Training & Development

  • Support performance management procedures and promote employee development
  • Partner with department managers to assess training needs, and development plans, source and book courses
  • Build team succession plans with 3-to-5-year plan for business areas
  • UK travel required – retail boutiques and Manchester head office

    Profile

    Education :

  • CIPD Qualified or equivalent experience
  • Professional Experience :

  • Min 2-3 years generalist HR experience preferably in retail, luxury goods or a similar industry
  • Recruitment experience
  • Management of employee relations
  • Experience in coaching and developing line managers to support with HR matters
  • Excellent PC skills and experience of using various software packages
  • Experience of producing and analysing reports
  • Profile
