Maths Academic Coach
Looking use your degree knowledge to help provide better outcomes for maths students.
Do you have a passion for mathematics and want to use your degree to help students achieve their full potential?
An ‘Outstanding’ secondary school in Walsall is looking for a dedicated Maths Academic Coach to join their team from January 2025 to July 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to support students in developing their mathematical skills while gaining invaluable classroom experience.
As a Maths Academic Coach, you will provide targeted support to students in KS3 and KS4. This includes one-to-one tuition and small group interventions, focusing on improving understanding, boosting confidence, and closing learning gaps in key areas of the curriculum. You will work closely with teachers to ensure students receive personalised guidance tailored to their needs.
The school prides itself on its supportive and high-achieving environment, making it the ideal setting for both students and staff to thrive. This role offers an excellent platform for those considering a career in education or looking to gain experience before undertaking teacher training.
The ideal candidate will be a graduate with a degree in mathematics or a related subject, paired with strong communication and interpersonal skills. A passion for education and a genuine desire to make a difference are essential. While previous experience working with young people is advantageous, it is not required, as enthusiasm and commitment are the key attributes for success.
This position offers a daily rate of £80 to £90 and runs from January 2025 to July 2025.
If you are eager to inspire the next generation of mathematicians and support students in achieving their goals, apply now to start your journey as a Maths Academic Coach.
