HGV Class 1 Night Driver-All Shifts Available

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Snetterton area. We are looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers (CAT C+E) to join the team.Hours : Shifts across Monday to Sunday with start times from 12pm to 9pm.-Full Time-Part Time / AD-HOC- WeekendsPay Rate : £17.20 to £24.44 per hour PAYE.Location : Snetterton, NR16Job Type : Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate.The role :

• Execute depot pull, filling the back of a trailer at the depot and transporting it to a hub.
• Engage in customer work, taking the vehicle to a customer to collect a trailer, delivering it to a hub, and returning to the depot.
• Assist with loading and unloading at customer sites and in the depot.
• Perform drop and swap operations, sometimes using a tail lift, and occasionally doing trailer swaps requiring uncoupling the vehicle.
• Collaborate with a team to ensure efficient operations and timely deliveries.
• Travel to local sites for a one-off download of the tacho card prior to being put forward for the position.
• Attend an on-site induction for the first shift.Requirements :
• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C+E).
• Have at least 6 months of proven experience driving the relevant vehicle.
• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Less than 12 infringement points in any one month and no infringement points for three consecutive months.
• Flexibility to work shifts across Monday to Sunday with start times from 12 pm - 9 pm (all paid at night rate).
• Ability to travel to local site for tacho card download prior to being put forward.
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Excellent communication skills.
