ORONA’s activities are focused on the design, manufacture, installation, maintenance, and modernisation of lifts, escalators, moving ramps and walkways. Operating in 100 countries, we have 300,000 lifts worldwide using our technology. With 2 manufacturing plants Orona is Number 1 in Europe in terms of complete lift production capacity.

We are looking for Trainee Lift Tester to join our team in Bournemouth and surrounding areas. You will work alongside a qualified Lift Tester to learn and understand the company and requirements to become a qualified Lift Tester.

The trainee scheme is likely to take up to 4 years to complete.

To be successfully shortlisted for the scheme you will have :

• 5 GCSE’s grades A-C including Maths, English and Science
• Ideally possess one of the following; Level 2 Foundation Course in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, Level 2 Performing Engineering Operations or BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical Engineering
• Able to follow instructions and ensuring safety guidelines are followed at all time
• Demonstrate a willingness to develop and learn new skills.
