Job Description

The role of a Trader is to bring an entrepreneurial approach and quantitative methods to managing Exinity Group’s market risk across all entities and asset classes. Reporting to the Head of Trading, a Trader will be responsible for executing all shift tasks and optimizing the market-making technology to deliver on the Group’s strategic objectives pertaining to market risk returns. This role requires a strong aptitude for risk management and requires a high level of attention to detail. Overnight and weekend shifts will be part of this role.

Responsibilities :

  • Profiling of client flow and identifying patterns of behavior to translate into strategic proposals to optimize market risk returns.
  • Research, test and implement algorithmic pricing and hedging strategies.
  • Use market data from various trading venues as well as proprietary data to design and implement systematic trading signals.
  • Provide human oversight of trading portfolio, covering shifts as required.
  • Manage and set KPIs to govern liquidity relationships using quantitative methods to ensure Exinity’s cost of trading is minimized and best execution obligations are met.
  • Ensure all procedures are executed to an impeccable standard by the team across all shifts, making sure procedure documentation is kept up to date.
  • Be an exemplary corporate citizen; modelling Exinity’s ethos and brand values always.
  • Work closely with commercial leads on product delivery and pre-sales process.
  • NOP management. Manage NOP levels at prime brokers.

Qualifications

Essential :

  • Demonstrable experience in electronic trading of FX, indices, commodities, crypto & single stocks. Options are considered a plus.
  • Proven ability to analyze large amounts of data and draw useful commercial conclusions.
  • Comfortable with full strategy development, simulation, back-testing and implementation.
  • Strong academic background in an analytical field.
  • Proficient in problem-solving techniques
  • Desirable :

  • Working experience within a Brokerage environment.
  • Coding in C languages is considered a plus.
  • Previous LP relationship management experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of Meta Trader 4 and / or Meta Trader 5 platforms.
