Job description

Job Title : Core Subjects Tutor

Location :

East of England, Bedfordshire, Bedford

Salary :

25.00 - £30.00 Per hour

Job Duties :

  • Deliver high-quality tutoring in core subjects such as Maths, English, and Science
  • Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to individual student needs
  • Assess students' progress and provide feedback to enhance learning outcomes
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders to support student development
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance

Required Qualifications :

  • Relevant degree in Education or a related field
  • Teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in tutoring core subjects at various academic levels

    • Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills :

  • Demonstrated expertise in core subjects curriculum and teaching methodologies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and engage students effectively
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education or a relevant subject
  • Experience working with students with diverse learning needs

    All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
