Technical Services Manager

Location : Prime London residential

Development Salary : £45,000 - 50,000

Contract : Full-time, Monday to Friday 09 : 00 to 17 : 30 (flexibility required)

A leading residential property management company is seeking a Technical Services Manager to join their team at a premium London development. In this pivotal role, you'll be responsible for the operational aspects of the development, ensuring all technical systems function flawlessly while maintaining exceptional standards throughout the property.

Key responsibilities

  • Support the Development Management Team with operational aspects of the property
  • Supervise and manage the Estate Maintenance Operative team
  • Conduct statutory compliance inspections of electrical and mechanical systems
  • Progress all repair and maintenance requirements, prioritising as necessary
  • Maintain the development to exceptional standards befitting its premium status
  • Support the development of resident activities and facilities
  • Implement and champion training procedures within the technical team
  • Ensure efficient operation of all M&E functions throughout the development
  • Carry out periodic site inspections to maintain statutory compliance
  • Make recommendations for operational best practices to the Development Manager
  • Requirements

  • Membership of a relevant professional association
  • Experience in multi-purpose / residential property management
  • Evidence of continued professional development
  • Experience supervising technical staff
  • Technical knowledge of property-related facilities, mechanical and electrical services
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical abilities for root cause investigations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft software packages including Word and Excel
  • GCSE English and Mathematics (grade C or above) or equivalent
  • Exceptional time management and attention to detail
  • Ability to take ownership and manage tasks from conception to completion
