Do you want to help transform young lives? We're looking for enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to join our team, working with students aged 11-19 who have a range of complex needs, including autism, learning disabilities, and communication difficulties. If you're passionate about supporting others, this could be the role for you!
Your Responsibilities :
- Support Learning and Development : Collaborate with professionals to create an encouraging and supportive learning environment.
- Tailored Support : Provide personalised, one-to-one or small group support for students with sensory and communication needs.
- Build Trusting Relationships : Foster strong connections with students, ensuring a safe and welcoming learning space.
- Positive Behaviour Support : Use creative approaches to promote positive behaviour, adapting to the unique needs of each student.
- Assist with Personal Care : Provide personal care when needed, always maintaining respect and dignity for each student.
What We're Looking For :
Experience working with SEN students (paid or voluntary).A Level 2 or higher qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (preferred, but not required).GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade C / Level 2 or above) - essential.A solid understanding of safeguarding and child protection.A flexible and creative approach to meet individual learning needs.What We Offer :
