Group HR Manager | Letchworth | Aerospace Manufacturing

Are you an experienced HR professional ready to drive change and make a real impact?

We're looking for an Group HR Manager to join a leading aerospace manufacturing business. The role is hands-on and requires a proactive approach to developing HR policies, processes, and a strong workforce. The Group HR Manager will spend time across three businesses within the group, typically dedicating a day or two at each site.

Location : Multiple sites in Letchworth area, onsite role

Hours : 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday

What You’ll Be Doing :

Developing and implementing HR strategies to support business objectives

Enhancing employee engagement and workforce retention

Overseeing recruitment, onboarding, and talent development

Managing compensation, benefits, and staff wellness initiatives

Driving productivity and performance improvements

Advising on workforce planning, including succession strategies and apprenticeship programs

What We’re Looking For :

• Degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience, plus CIPD Level 5 (ideally working towards Level 7).
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Analytical mindset with a proactive approach
• Experience in HR within a manufacturing or engineering environment (preferred)
