Maintenance Officer

Peace Recruitment are looking for a reliable and proactive Maintenance Officer to carry out a mix of planned and reactive maintenance tasks across our housing stock. This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. The role will be for an initial 3 months but likely to be extended.You’ll work closely with our housing team and tenants to ensure our properties are maintained to a high standard, carrying out inspections, organising repairs, and liaising with contractors when needed.Key Responsibilities :

• Carry out regular property inspections and identify necessary works
• Respond to and resolve reactive maintenance issues promptly
• Support planned maintenance programmes and project delivery
• Coordinate with contractors and ensure works are completed to specification
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
• Provide excellent customer service to tenants and other stakeholdersWhat We’re Looking For :
• Previous experience in property maintenance or a related field
• Good understanding of building maintenance and repair procedures
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle insured for business use is essential
