Job description

Anderson Knight is excited to be partnering with our client in Lanarkshire to recruit an experienced HR Adviser . In this role, you will provide expert HR support and guidance, playing a pivotal part in the delivery of high-quality, people-focused HR services. As an HR Adviser, you’ll drive key HR initiatives, foster a positive employee experience, and ensure the organisation continues to thrive with best-in-class HR practices.

Key Responsibilities :

  • HR Guidance & Support : Provide expert advice on HR policies, procedures, and employment law, ensuring consistency and compliance across the organisation.
  • Recruitment & Onboarding : Assist with end-to-end recruitment, from drafting job descriptions and conducting interviews to facilitating smooth onboarding experiences.
  • Employee Relations : Manage and advise on employee relations issues, including disciplinary, grievance, and performance management cases, ensuring fair and consistent handling.
  • Training & Development : Work closely with managers to identify skill gaps and development needs, coordinating appropriate training programs that align with business goals.
  • Workforce Planning : Monitor and analyse key HR metrics, providing valuable insights to support strategic workforce planning and decision-making.
  • Compliance : Ensure adherence to relevant employment legislation and organisational policies, proactively mitigating risks and safeguarding best practices.

About You :

We are looking for a highly organised, approachable, and solutions-driven HR professional. You will possess a solid foundation in HR practices and a genuine desire to make a meaningful impact on the workplace by fostering a positive employee experience and implementing effective HR strategies.

Essential Criteria :

  • Proven experience in a similar HR Adviser or HR generalist role.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing employee relations cases, ensuring fair and timely resolutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees and managers at all levels.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and solution-focused approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
