Maintenance Engineer

My client is looking for an experienced mechanically biased Maintenance Engineer to join an expanding team on a permanent basis in the Hexham area with an immediate start available.Package -

• Salary is £37,100 + on call allowance = £45,000
• Potential earnings - £50,000
• Monday to Friday
• 39 hours per week
• 20 retainer when on call
• Mileage paid when on call Responsibilities -
• Design maintenance strategies, procedures and methods
• Carry out routine maintenance work and respond to equipment faults
• Diagnose breakdown problems
• Fit new parts and make sure equipment is working correctly
• Carry out quality inspections on jobs
• Liaise with client departments, customers and other engineering and production colleagues
• Arrange specialist procurement of fixtures, fittings or component
• Experience with gearboxes, motors and burning Requirements -
• Ideally from a heavy industrial background
• Must have knowledge of three power phase
• Diving license
