We are seeking a skilled Design Engineer for our client located in Newark. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design, ideally within the food manufacturing sector.
THE ROLE
The ideal Design Engineer will be enthusiastic about using their skills and expertise in a forward-thinking environment, key responsibilities include :
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product designs meet client requirements.
- Manage design projects from concept through to production.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting.
- Design layouts or redesign layouts to improve efficiency and functionality.
- Visiting sites, sometimes involving overnight stays.
