Position : CNC Millturn Programmer, Setter, Operator - Permanent Nights Location : Chesterfield  Salary : Up to £23ph (overtime available) Shifts : Permanent Nights Monday-Wednesday 17 : 30-06 : 00 Thursday 17 : 30-03 : 00 (option to work overtime until 06 : 00 at 1.3x overtime rate)

Role Overview : We are seeking a skilled CNC Millturn Programmer, Setter, and Operator to program, set up, and operate CNC machinery. The successful candidate will manufacture products according to engineering drawings, ensuring all products meet customer expectations. The role also includes maintaining shop floor controls and monitoring measuring equipment procedures.

Responsibilities :

• Program, set, and operate CNC Millturn Doosan SMX machines using FANUC controls.
• Collaborate with operators and inspectors to standardise inspection methods.
• Operate multiple machines in sequence and measure parts using micrometers.
• Work in a manufacturing environment, meeting production targets and checking for defects and quality issues.
• Maintain shop floor controls and measuring equipment.
• Ensure a safe working environment and suggest improvements to the direct manager.
