You’ll enjoy ‘more time to care’ and the opportunity to develop your career in a safe, modern, and patient-focused environment.As a Staff Nurse in our Ambulatory Care Unit, you’ll deliver high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing same-day surgical and medical procedures across a variety of specialities including cardiology, orthopaedics, gynaecology, and general surgery. We treat those undergoing procedures across a range of specialties including cardiology, general surgery, orthopaedics, gynae. In addition the hospital has 3 main theatres, a day theatre / endoscopy unit, cardiac cath. lab. 29-bedded ward and busy outpatient department. These are supported by physiotherapy, pharmacy and cardiac physiologist services. The unit (ACU) operates 6 days a week between 07 : 00 and approximately 20 : 30.
