Senior Project Manager

We're looking for a Senior Project Manager to join the Natural Resources, Nuclear and Networks Team, on our Severn Trent Water Framework.

  • Location : Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire
  • Contract : Permanent - Full Time – flexible and part-time hours may be available if desired, just let us know.

What will my responsibilities be?

As a Senior Project Manager , you'll be responsible for the supervision of the projects and the workforce covering the Severn Trent sites wastewater treatment works. Within the role you'll work on capital projects within the water industry, working on the upgrade and resilience of wastewater treatment, delivering both Design and Build of up to £20m in value. You'll be accountable for the time, cost, quality and all safety aspects.

Your day to day will include :

  • Working at maintaining the highest standards of safety, contributing to the value engineering and buildability of the project.
  • To gain agreement of programmes and methods of construction with Planners and other appropriate production personnel.
  • Marshalling of resources to oversee the works including the selection of sub-contractors to carry out the works.
  • Ensuring that key dates, resource requirements, production rates, overhead targets etc, are established, monitored and adhered to.
  • Running ECI projects
  • What are we looking for?

    This role of Senior Project Manager is great for you if you hold :

  • Proven management experience, preferably in the water and wastewater industry.
  • HNC or higher in Civil Engineering and hold SMSTS and CSCS.
  • Relevant Civil Engineering Experience in non-infrastructure and experience of M&E works.
