Are you a flexible and adaptable educator looking for an exciting opportunity to teach across a variety of subjects and year groups? We are seeking Secondary Supply Teachers around Hoddesdon to provide high-quality teaching and classroom management in the absence of regular teachers. Beginning ASAP.

Duties of a Secondary Teacher :

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects and year groups
  • Maintain a positive and productive learning environment in the classroom
  • Adapt quickly to different school settings and classroom expectations
  • Manage student behaviour effectively in line with school policies
  • Support students in their learning and ensure continuity in their education
  • Follow school procedures for reporting student progress and incidents

Ideal Secondary Teacher :

  • A degree in Education or a related subject
  • A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS)
  • Experience teaching at secondary level across multiple subjects is desirable
  • Strong classroom management and adaptability skills
  • The ability to engage and motivate students in different learning environments
  • A DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
