Position : Electrical Project EngineerLocation : Scottish Water FrameworkSalary Guide : £Negotiable DOE, Plus Car / Allowance and Excellent Benefits PackageOur client is a Tier 1 D&B Contractor operating predominately in the water industry, who are delivering a significant proportion of Scottish Water's SR21 programme of clean and wastewater non-infrastructure projects throughout Scotland.They are recruiting for an Electrical Project Engineer to deliver projects throughout the Scottish Water region with hybrid working available.You will report directly to the Project Manager and assist in co-ordinating an effective and economic plant design and procurement strategy; ensuring information is issued in time to enable construction, commissioning and putting to work in line with the Contract Programme; provide cost data for forecasts and evaluation of variationsKey responsibilities : Ensure project costs do not exceed tender / varied allowanceEnsure contract reviews, monthly forecasts are completed and submitted on timeMaintain good client relationships at all levelsAssist with the Project Management strategyAssist in the production of the contract programme; monitor programme and produce progress reportsProvide data for the timely production of O&M manualsLiaise with subcontractors and suppliersLiaise with site management on design and procurement issuesMonitor subcontract performanceAssist in the preparation of the construction completion and take over documentationWork closely with design departments to ensure timely progressing of quality solutionsEvaluate innovative solutions and processesContribute to risk and opportunity schedules on a monthly basisEnsure designs are developed which are safe to construct, commission, operate and maintainComplete the capitalisation process Skills, Qualifications & Experience : Relevant professional qualification in Electrical EngineeringWorking knowledge of various conditions of contract especially NECExperience of supply chain expeditionKnowledge of water and waste water treatment processesCDM & Health & Safety knowledge
