Based in Manchester, this company has seen strong sales and impressive cost and waste reductions, yet there remains significant opportunity for further improvement—particularly in reducing internal scrap and the cost of poor quality.The RoleThis is a hands-on role focused on improving internal quality and reducing defects within the manufacturing process. The successful Quality Engineer will work closely with the production team across all areas to identify, investigate, and resolve quality issues.Key responsibilities include :

• Using data analysis to identify trends and assess the effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Implementing structured problem-solving methodologies (such as 8D) to identify root causes of defects.
• Driving corrective and preventative actions to eliminate recurring issues.
• Ensuring that all quality-related processes and documentation are updated to reflect implemented improvements.
