We have a fantastic opportunity within our Accounts Receivable function to join us as Senior Sales & Banking Analyst. This role reports to the Sales & Banking Supervisor. The purpose of this role is to help safeguard company cash by completing regular cash and sales reconciliations in a timely manner. Provide regular reporting to Field and Senior management on non-conformance.

The Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily reconciliations for sales to cash are completed for all companies within the group and any discrepancies are enacted upon in a timely manner and highlighted to relevant management maintaining business relationships.
  • Actively taking part in the month-end process and posting journals.
  • Clear down of control account clear downs, including manual adjustments.
  • Online order validation and postings on a weekly basis.
  • Weekly reporting on all discrepancies between expected banking and received banking within agreed thresholds.
  • Investigate and help to resolve sales and banking queries.
  • Process journals as and when required throughout the month.
  • Provide support and cover for other team members.
  • Assist month-end reconciliation, balance sheets accounts and processes.
  • Support with continuous improvement and review of process.

Location

This role is based in Nuneaton and may occasionally require travel to our London Hub or to any other location of H&B. We support flexibility and productivity of our employees by hybrid working arrangements with a minimum of 2 days presence in the office.

The Person

Key Requirements

  • Ability to work calmly and effectively whilst working under pressure.
  • Making timely and rational decisions based on relevant information and experience whilst also hitting deadlines.
  • Good standard of written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience working within a busy Finance department.
  • Experience using Dream or another equivalent accounting software package.
  • Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail.
  • Experience of high-volume processing.
