Mechanical Design Engineer - £40,000 - Heywood, North Manchester

Plus various locations within the UK and Overseas as required.

You must have a driving licence and a passport.

You will report to the Design Manager / Director and collaborate with design / sales and projects, shop / assembly teams on design projects. Responsibilities

• Produce and design detailed drawings and documentation.
• Use specialised software to create models and drawings of products.
• Research new materials and methods of development.
• Organise and maintain existing engineering records.
• Construct prototypes and confirm designs with design / sales team.
• Perform physical testing on engineering prototypes.
• Ensure components and assemblies adhere to applicable industry and business standards.
• Attend / organise project meetings at both office and customer sites.
