Senior Accountant - Part Time

TPF Recruitment, Kent's leading accountancy practice recruitment agency is recruiting for a Senior Accountant to join a firm of accountants on a part-time basis based near Deal, Kent. You will work in a general practice capacity across accounts, tax, bookkeeping and VAT, reporting in to the Manager.

You will either be a recently qualified or qualified by experience Senior Accountant. You will have lots of autonomy and our client will provide study support if required.

You will have the opportunity to work remotely for up to 50% of the time.

You will be responsible for :

• Preparation of statutory accounts to review stage using IRIS
• Assisting with management accounts production
• Personal taxation, corporate taxation and VAT returns
• General bookkeeping duties using Sage, Xero or  Quickbooks
• Coaching and mentoring junior staff members and trainees

Commutable from most towns in Eats Kent- Dover, Folkestone, Deal, Canterbury, Thanet, Margate, Sandwich, Ramsgate etc.

Benefits

30,000 - £40,000 FTE, dependent on experience and background, negotiable.

Requirements

You will be ACA / ACCA or qualified by experience with at least 3 years experience within practice. You will have worked as Semi Senior or Senior accountant within practice Experience of Iris and cloud software such as Xero / Quickbooks would be advantageous
