Assistant Farm Manager | Shropshire | Root Crops & Cereals
About the Role
We are seeking an Assistant Farm Manager to join a family farming operation. The Assistant Farm Manager will work closely with the Farm Manager on a 2500ac farm growing Root Crops and cereals.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating tractors and other agricultural machinery for ploughing, planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops
- Performing routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Assisting with general farm work as needed, including transporting materials and preparing fields
- Experience with Gatekeeper and Excel would be ideal
- Organising a small regular team
