We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, utilising advanced clinical skills to assess, diagnose, and manage a variety of health conditions. This position requires a strong commitment to patient wellbeing and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Key Responsibilities :
- Post-operative medical management and care of all Orthopaedic patients admitted to the Orthopaedic elective for surgery.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans for orthopaedic patients.
- Work across all areas in the elective Orthopaedic wards to manage all aspects of ward work for Orthopaedic Inpatients.
- Be responsible for the assessment and management of patients presenting to the elective Orthopaedic wards.
- Collaborate with consultants, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care.
- Participate in weekend insourcing lists to manage patient flow and reduce waiting times.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families.
- Develop and implement individualised care plans based on patient needs and preferences.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic health conditions, prescribing medications as necessary.
- Provide health education and counselling to patients and their families regarding treatment options and lifestyle modifications.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage effectively with patients and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems for documentation purposes.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound clinical decisions under pressure.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and lifelong learning in the field of healthcare.
- Qualifications :
- Registered Nurse or Allied Health Professional with a Master's degree in Advanced Clinical Practice.
- ALS trained
- Level 7 qualification in clinical assessment
- Extensive experience in orthopaedics or a related field.
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to perform advanced procedures.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous professional development.
