Job description

7.5 Tonne / HGV 2 Driver Position

Staffing Match is proud to be working in partnership with our client based in Stevenage who are looking for 7.5 tonne / HGV 2 drivers to join them on a long term / temp to perm basis.

Shifts and pay rates as a 7.5t driver :

  • Rota 5 days on 3 days off rolling (requiring only 2 full weekends in an 8 week rotation)
  • 14.50 per hour PAYE

Your responsibilities :

  • Duties include driving a 7.5t vehicle, working with an experienced driver's mate or driver.
  • 2-man crew delivery of goods to customers' homes or flats.
  • Unloading goods and delivering to the room of choice.
  • Completing paperwork.
  • Heavy lifting is involved.

    • About you :

  • Have a 7.5t licence or above, CPC and Digi card.
  • Be able to work long days as required; we cannot specify what time you will finish.
  • You will need to have a DBS and drug and alcohol test before you start; we will arrange this.
  • No more than 6 penalty points or disqualifications, no DR, DD, TT's or IN10's.
