Digital Accounting Support Technician - Devon / Remote - £25k - £30k

Trial Balance Consulting have been exclusively reengaged by our long standing client, a very rapidly growing and highly successful software developer who produce market leading digital accounting solutions to finance functions throughout the UK. However, suitable candidates must ideally be based within a commutable distance of the company HQ in Devon to enable ongoing product training and to ensure that you have a close working relationship with your colleagues. The company will provide all of the necessary IT and telephony equipment, broadband, and even home office furniture to ensure that the role can be completed in comfort and with all tools at your disposal.

Working closely with a friendly and knowledgeable team, the successful candidate will act as a key point of contact to software users seeking technical support and guidance. Supports requests may be as simple as posting invoices or perhaps more complex, requiring escalation to the senior support team. Whatever the query, the successful candidate will be focussed on delivering high quality customer service throughout. For this role we’re looking for an enthusiastic individual with at least 2 years of recently experience working at least an Accounts Assistant level. You should have a solid understanding of the main accounting principles and an understanding of the finance lifecycle. The company provides bespoke sector specific software and whilst previous experience won’t be required, you will need to possess a strong working knowledge of MS Excel.
